About The Richmond County Black And Minority Chamber Of Commerce

    The Richmond County Black & Minority Chamber of Commerce was incorporated May 22, 2015 and like it’s parent corporation The National Black Chamber of Commerce which was incorporated as The National Black Chamber of Commerce, Inc., in 1993.

    Richmond County Black Chamber is also a nonprofit, nonpartisan, nonsectarian organization dedicated to the economic empowerment of African American communities. Additionally, the organization represents the views of its members regarding economic and political policy issues; domestically and in the future, internationally. It is organized as a 501(c) corporation and has members within the geographic locality of Richmond County, Staten Island New York.

    All members will also receive membership with the New York Minority Chamber of Commerce and The National Black Chamber of Commerce. Complimentary for 1 year.

    The Women Initiative: Making an Impact

    The Women Initiative at BMC, we are dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs at all stages of their journey. Our initiative, launched in April 2024, aims to provide a supportive community and resources to help women achieve their business goals. While we are just starting, our vision is to support 300 women-owned businesses in our first year, offering mentorship, networking opportunities, and educational workshops. We believe that by empowering women entrepreneurs, we can create a more diverse and inclusive business landscape, driving innovation and economic growth in our community.
